Gbarlee A. Karbadeh was born in the Republic of Liberia, West Africa to the parents of Lora Clarke and James S. Karbadeh, and later relocated to the United States of America.

Since she was a child, she envisioned helping the vulnerable and less fortunate people. She has always been a helper to people around her. She has worked with the elderly population during her social work career in different capacities which include working with the elderly population as a case manager.

She worked at the Intellectual Developmental Disabilities population, also mental health as a service coordinator and with the less fortunate population including children.

She graduated with her Associate in Human Services, Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work. "This is my passion and promoting Social Justice is my Priority."

The name Divine Settlement Relief came about when she got a prophecy from her pastor, Pastor Joseph B. Lee Monrovia, Liberia about Divine settlement from God in her life, and the prophecy from the Lord, Divine settlement is ordained by Jesus.
